Dale
and Cathleen have ministered to Cambodian people since 1988. In
St. Paul MN, they started a church for Cambodian refugees and
raised up Cambodian leaders to continue the work. Then, in 1990,
they felt God calling them to go plant churches in Cambodia,
where there were at the time only a handful of Christians. They
have been in Cambodia since 1992 and currently reside in the
capital city of Phnom Penh.
Dale's focus of
ministry is church planting among ethnic Chinese who live in
Cambodia - specifically. It is his desire is to see a
church-planting movement sweep over
the entire Chinese-Cambodian people group resulting in thousands
of reproducing Chinese-Cambodian churches in Phnom Penh and
beyond, transforming communities all across Cambodia.
Cathleen is primarily focused on ministry
to children by placing orphaned, abused or trafficked children
in families (family-based care) By establishing Children In
Families, a local Non-Government Organization, Cathleen has
found a unique community-entry approach which has resulted in
leading people to Christ and opportunities to plant churches in
areas previously untouched by the gospel.
